New Groups Join Network

The Co Wexford Age Equality Network would like to welcome new members to the Network. At a recent Coffee Morning held in Enniscorthy the existing Network members were joined by groups from Wexford, New Ross and Kilmuckridge and Enniscorthy.

Conference finds high satisfaction with quality of life

The Right to Hope & Dream was attended by over 100 delegates from 29 groups across Co Wexford, as well as representatives from regional and national organisations.

A number of service providers also attended with information stands that distributed a range of relevant material.

Threat to State Pension

Over 160 attend National Positive Ageing Strategy Consultation

Older people in Wexford showed how vocal the Model County is when over 160 attended the National Positive Ageing Strategy Consulation meeting with Áine Brady TD, Minister for Health Promotion and Older People. The event in the Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorthy on Monday, April 26th, was the largest held to date, in the country.
